Who We Are

Our Competitive Edge

At REMOTE PROJECTS, our advantage lies in the exceptional partnership between Tony and Justin.

With nearly 25 years of experience, Tony, an accomplished entrepreneur and problem solver, previously owned a large-scale modular manufacturing plant. His expertise in delivering top-quality, efficient modular products is unmatched.

Complementing Tony's strengths, Justin brings extensive hands-on experience in organization, logistics, communication, civil work, and financial management of modular projects. His ability to keep jobs on track and morale high makes him an invaluable asset.

Together, Tony's manufacturing background and Justin's field expertise create a powerful team, driving the company's mission to deliver innovative, scalable, and transformative building projects tailored for remote communities.

Health & Safety

We ensure everyone leaves the worksite better than they arrived.

REMOTE PROJECTS meets provincial health and safety standards as recognized by Alberta Job Skills, Training, and Labour, reflecting our commitment to making health and safety a top priority.

Our team takes full accountability for our environment and well-being, actively identifying and eliminating potential risks.

Environment

Globally, developers are recognizing the eco-benefits of modular and prefabricated construction. Offsite construction reduces community impact, environmental disruption, and construction waste while decreasing onsite pollution. Additionally, it accelerates project timelines by 25-50%, advancing sustainability efforts.

Climate-controlled offsite facilities ensure maximum airtightness in modules, enhancing energy efficiency.

Here are some benefits of the modular process:

Community

We measure success by our positive impact on communities. Our team is encouraged to give back through volunteer and fundraising efforts. REMOTE PROJECTS partners with organizations like IN2ACTION, supporting causes such as affordable housing, mental health, and community programs in remote areas.

Indigenous Partnerships

At REMOTE PROJECTS, we understand the importance of supporting Indigenous peoples in achieving and sustaining economic development and independence. We are proud of the strong bonds we have formed with our partners and the quality of these strategic alliances. Each relationship is built with mutual benefit in mind, and we are honoured to contribute to the growth and success of these communities.

REMOTE PROJECTS is dedicated to seeking opportunities that support the economic endeavours of Indigenous communities and enhance their cultural well-being. With guidance from our Indigenous community partners, REMOTE PROJECTS is committed to:

  • Implementing the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action 92
  • Understanding and supporting the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG) Calls to Justice.

REMOTE PROJECTS has a proven track record of Indigenous employment, training, and subcontracting, along with the use of local businesses. In Indigenous communities, we collaborate with local Indigenous businesses and workers to deliver most site services, supported by our project manager and site supervisors.

REMOTE PROJECTS will consider and evaluate business relationships and partnerships that can be sustainable, and are of mutual benefit and interest for our clients.

Subcontracting Opportunities for Indigenous Businesses
REMOTE PROJECTS will consider all qualified and competitive Indigenous businesses and partners to jointly execute a project. REMOTE PROJECTS will use commercially reasonable efforts to obtain goods or services from as many Indigenous businesses identified by our Indigenous partner communities as possible.

Long-Term Indigenous Economic Opportunities
REMOTE PROJECTS is seeking Indigenous community partners on contracted projects. REMOTE PROJECTS will consider the utilization of Indigenous businesses for such future opportunities as they arise.
